+/- June 2014

I feel like June went by in a flash. Here are a few things that stood out to me.

+ I've spent the month getting myself super organized. I've never been that disorganized but I definitely upped my gamed in June. I had a stack of notebooks sitting on my desk so I made a little Squarespace notebook a giant to do list, another little Moleskine is for notes and idea, and I have my weekly Moleskine to keep track of my schedule. On top of that I've been using Google Calendar to keep track of my work, my blog schedule, bills, and personal life. Using Google Calendar seriously has saved my life. If it isn't written down or on my calendar, I'm probably going to forget it.

+ I challenged myself to blogging every single weekday in June, which I did! Using Google Calendar definitely helped me keep that goal. I could plan out my blog posts in advance and it made the idea of blogging practically every day much less scary. I've learned about what blog posts I like to do and what works and what doesn't. I think I plan on doing it every weekday and trying out new things along the way.

+ I've been a more active this month. I went the yoga once a week for the past three weeks and I even let my friend Ashley take me to do yoga on a pier at 6:30 in the morning. I've also been doing 100 squats at day because goals, I got em.

+ The highlight of my month was surprising my girl Rachel at her birthday party at The Plaza in New York. You can check out that blog post here.

- I can't really think of anything negative so I guess that's a positive. Here are some random photos from the month.
