Today is the opening of Mother Africa, a gallery show featuring work from photographers, painters, mixed media artists, and more around the theme of Africa. I have 10 photos showing in this exhibit. February 1st - 3rd from 5 to 7 pm will be gallery receptions featuring music, dance, and a showing of a documentary film. Photo Story // Giuseppina Magazine Issue #3
Happy December everyone! I can't believe the year is almost over. It's been a whirlwind. I'm happy to start off the end of 2010 by announcing my first publication in a magazine! It's a two page spread in issue three of Giuseppina magazine.
The shoot was actually done in September and was submitted to be in the special edition Halloween issue of Giuseppina. Editor Jessica Rowell said that the issue was full but that she'd love to add it to the third issue. This is pretty exciting for all of us because it's out first time getting published.
Here are two full sized photos from the shoot.
You can buy an issue here on MagCloud. It is currently on sale for $9.40 so buy it while it's on sale!
Also become a fan of Giuseppina on Facebook!

Now booking Senior and Family Portraits
It's that time of year. School's almost done and I am booking senior portraits. I remember when I had to get my senior portraits done and I hated it. It was such an awkward experience. Teens don't have to worry about me posing them in ridiculous unnatural and cheesy poses.

Rachel, age 15Also Mother's Day is right around the corners so I am also booking family portraits. Wrangle up your entire family for a photo for mom or just have photos taken of the kids.

Celebrating Diversity 2010
Tomorrow is the artists' reception for Celebrating Diversity at the Attleboro Arts Museum. I was in this show last year and it has become even larger this year featuring artists from all of New England and New York. Click on the cards to above to see who is showing and also the schedule for the day. Attleboro is having a Winter Night Festival later on that and is free and open to the public.
There will be music and refreshments at the show and it is free and open to everyone.
Portfolio is done!
You would think that I would have already had a portfolio done but I was using my website as my port. I'm happy to have a physical port to carry around with me.
A new start to this blog
I only used this blog to promote shows my work is in but that's not enough. I use my Facebook fan page to do most of my updating. I want to do more with this blog though so I will be posting photos that aren't going to have their own set, my videos, and articles on modeling and photography. So be on the look out for lots of new content. Add this blog to your RSS feeds to get updated once a new blog entry is posted.
