Photo Story // Laurena

Laurena emailed me a few months ago asking to schedule a shoot. I love it when new people email me out of the blue asking for photo shoots. I have my group of girls I love to shoot but there is always a rush that happens when you shoot someone you don't know. I actually had no idea what she looked like until we met right before the shoot on Saturday. We had a fun time. She was really funny and she also got my special brand of humor, which is made the shoot fly by. I'd love to shoot Laurena again in the future.

Roots of Creation and The Indobox

On Saturday the 12th of this month I went to The Spot Underground to see Roots of Creation and The Indobox. On their Facebook fan page, Roots of Creation call themselves a "The Reggae/RoC Dubtronica Hybrid". Quite honestly I am not a fan of reggae but I did enjoy their show. The mix of Electronica made it much more enjoyable. I played around with my flash remotely to play around with the light against the light from their show.

Next up was The Indobox which is a dance rock band. I really liked them since they reminded me of bands like Phoenix (which they covered) and Passion Pit. I really enjoy shooting bands with elaborate light shows. It makes it so much more fun.

Sasquatch and the Sick-A-Billys @ The Apartment

Last night I went to The Apartment in Providence to see Sasquatch and the Sick-A-Billys. I've never seen them before but I've always heard they put on a great show. They definitely did not disappoint.
