Last night at the grand opening party for Lola's Tequila Bar & Cantina I found out that a photo of mine is in this week's Providence Phoenix in an ad for The Whiskey Republic. Needless to say I was pretty excited to see this. It's the first time I've seen one of my photos in a newspaper. Apparently this photo has been in the paper for awhile and I had no idea!
I'm a fan of Google+ (add me!). Here's an article from Thought Catalog on Why We Choose ‘The Circle’. Also watch the video that's embedded in the article. I think the ability to sort people in circles is where Google+ shines. Once more people sign up I think I'll be spending more time there than Facebook.
I wouldn't say I'm obsessed but I'm strangely fascinated by the mommy bloggers or more specifically the Mormon mommy bloggers. I am not Mormon. I am not a mom. Personally I cannot relate to these women at all but I still read their blogs. They have cute kids, cute husbands who dress well, and the women have adorable personal style. It's like little hidden pockets of sunshine out on the internet. I first heard about them back in January when I read this article on the Salon called "Why I can't stop reading Mormon housewife blogs". The author listed off some she can't stop reading and I have to say, she got me hooked too. My absolute favorite mommy blogger is Heather Armstrong otherwise known as Dooce. She would probably kick in the face for calling her a mommy blogger so I take that back (sorry Heather!). She liberal. She's an ex-Mormon. She has no filter and I love her for it. And she just happens to write about her husband, two daughters, and two very interesting dogs.

This past weekend I came across Epic Meal Time. I don't know where I've been. Shawn and I watched all 38 episodes. Each episode got more ridiculous than the last. I can't believe none of these guys have gained an excessive amount of weight and/or had a heart attack! Below are some of my favorites. Also, this show is pretty NSFW language wise but it's so hilarious you're gonna want to share it with everyone.
The Candy BBQ is the only one Shawn and I can participate in since we're pescatarians!.

I'll leave you with one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands.
Here is part two of my photo shoot with Cory. We shot these photos down the street from Lauren's apartment. We had a perfect view of the sunset, which made the perfect light for shooting.
This large tree was at the top of the hill where we shot and it was perfect for climbing. Cory had no qualms about jumping in that tree in those super high heels.
This shoot was such a pleasure for me and I can't wait to work with Cory again soon.
Random beverages I've come across in the past few days - Did you know Jolly Rancher soda exists? I don't drink soda so I never have to go down that aisle so this may be common knowledge. // Like I said I don't drink soda but I might be tempted to try Red Bull Cola. // My friend Chantel showed me 20 Alcoholic Beverages Inspired By The Harry Potter Series. The one I want to try the most is the Avada Kedavra shot:
Ingredients: 1 part Goldschläger 1 part Schnapps, sour apple pucker 1 part tequila, gold 1 part whiskey, scotch 1 splash lemon juice 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
Instructions: 'Mix all ingredients. Serve in a shot glass.'

These Harry Potter baby dolls are pretty creepy but I wouldn't mind having the Snape one. It's the closest thing I'll get to having his kid. Did I say that publicly? ::slowly backs away and hides::
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting Cory. I've wanted to work with her for awhile so finally I just reached out to her and asked if she wanted to shoot. She was down immediately. We planned to shoot in Fall River a few weeks later. Lauren O'Jea's apartment was our getting ready/ Mario Party spot (I hate losing at Mario Party). We wandered around the city and found a few locations to shoot. After going home and reviewing the photos, I saw there were so many that I loved! That's always a good thing. I loved shooting Cory. She is so cute and sweet but when it comes to posing in front the camera, she's up there with the best of them.
Since there are so many photos I love, they'll be posted in two blog posts. I still haven't finished editing them! There are so many I like, it's hard to narrow them down. This is the first look we shot. Look out for the second outfit in the next few days.
