This past Sunday I shot the wedding of Felicia Love and Travis "Flizz" Wiggins. You're going to have to wait a little while for those photos but now I can share the photos from their engagement session.

I've been keeping up with my blogs with the Flipboard app on my iPad . It's such an easy way of reading all the blogs I follow as well as finding new ones to obsess over. Here are five blogs I am loving right now.
I believe I found Promise Tangeman's blog through Nubby Twiglet's Link Love. I love reading blogs from women is the creative field that focuses not just on work but on their personal lives and style. She also has great articles with advice for working as a freelancer.
I'm obsessed with the style of the Monoxious ladies. They are constantly traveling the world (for what I still don't know) and they have fantastic style posts from all over. I personally love that every outfit is in all black. I love an all black outfit.
Park and Cube is a great photo blog with beautiful photos of fashion, travel, and food. I actually don't even bother reading the text because they photos are so amazing, that's all I care about!
I am obsessed with Sandra's style. I don't even know how I found 5 Inch and Up but I have been hooked ever since. She has the most amazing personal style and I would die to have a wardrobe just like hers.
I've linked from A Beautiful Mess countless times in my Link Roundups. This blog is so cute! Elsie and Emma have the cutest DIYs, food, and photography posts. They make me want to get crafty and make some cute little things for my home.
The lookbook I shot with Timeflies and PLNDR has finally been released! I was so excited to see the final layout. Complex Magazine published the photos, which was insanely exciting for me! Seeing my name in print like this has been one of the greatest moments of my photography career so far.
I was asked last month to check out the new Dots that opened in Swansea, Massachusetts. I haven't shopped at Dots in since I was in high school and maybe my first few years of college. I thought that it would be interesting to see what Dots had in line with the styles that are currently on trend. I saw a lot of neon colors, nudes (neon and nude looks great together), corals, and prints. The styles have definitely upgraded since my days of shopping at Dots. Usually stores that carry clothing at an affordable price sacrifices style but I saw a ton of really cute clothing that I would definitely wear.
One thing I noticed is that Dots isn't just for teenagers. I'm 29 and I found styles that I found completely age appropriate. I think the new direction that Dots is taking is great because women in their 20s and 30s can shop there and not feel like they are trying to be younger than they are.
The employees were so nice and helpful. It was such an enjoyable experience shopping at Dots and I will definitely go back soon. There are new sales and coupons available all the time so I would definitely recommend shopping at Dots when looking for new trendy items to add to your closet.
Sunday night I made my way to New York to shoot DJ Silver Medallion for a look book with PLNDR. The heatwave in the city was in full effect. We all were pouring sweat but we made the trip from Brooklyn to Coney Island. I've never been to Coney Island so it was pretty awesome checking it out even for a little bit. I'm not a fan of amusement park rides but I would definitely go back to hang out and see the sights. We only had a limited time shooting but we had so much fun.
