Lauren O'Jea and I have been doing a lot of beauty shoots lately. It was funny how it happened. We both for completely different reasons needed to revamp our portfolios. She needed more natural and editoral looks and I just needed to show that I could do beauty shots period. Lauren and I started pumping out photos and along the way I started to love doing beauty shoots. This shoot is really different for me. We picked five colors and Lauren did a corresponding editoral look for each color. My sweetheart Alexandria was our model for the day. I love working with her. She really is the sweetest girl and I adore her mother as well. We somehow managed to get this whole shoot done in two and a half hours. I still have no idea how we pulled that off.

Behind the Scenes // Timeflies + PLNDR

I had the pleasure of shooting Timeflies for a lookbook for PLNDR in New York City last week. PLNDR is Karmaloop's extremely popular flash sale website. Danielle of popular fashion blog We Wore What was the stylist. Mandy was my lovely assistant for the day who went above and beyond the call of duty. It was such a fun whirlwind of a day and I was so lucky to be able to photograph Cal and Rez. They are going to blow up so check them out now before they make it big. A big thanks goes out to Heather for asking me to be a part of this shoot.
