A few weeks ago I shot Massachusetts based hip hop musician Ben Franklin. I love shooting promo shots for musicians. I feel like I don't get to do it enough. He wanted it to be different from the usual rapper photo shoots. I treated this like any of my model shoots even though he has never had a photo shoot before. We had a lot of fun running around shooting and we even shot a video for my "stripped" series. I can't wait to see more from Ben Franklin in the future!

// Brittanny Taylor Photography's BFF blog is Concrete Predator. They have been up for a month and I'm loving all the street style posts.
// This Will Destroy You - I feel like these shoes would destroy me personally. Also, the back story about these shoes is equally destructive.

// PVD Lady Project interviewed the ladies of I Am The Everyday Girl. I love the community building within the ladies of Providence.

// I've been loving videos from Andrew Mukamal and P'Trique from The Platform.
After a little break I am back with a new "stripped". This one is brought to us by Ben Franklin, a hip hop musician from Massachusetts. We had a photo shoot that day and I thought that we had to do a quick video. Underneath is a sneak peek from the photo shoot.

// You may have noticed that I'm a bit obsessed with A Beautiful Mess. The things those girls come up with are so cute! Look at these photos of flavored lemonades! I could go for some of those right about now.
// I love the inspiration posts over at Door Sixteen. They give me so many ideas for my future apartment!
// I love these Pantone themed desserts!
// Luxirare is on a level all of her own. Her takes on the American classic food made into waffles blew my mind.
// These glass sculptures would probably give me a heart attack if I came upon one in the woods.
// Pretty much in love with these photos by Martin Schoeller.
// Do you know what you would like to stop doing?
Testing out a new way of shooting. I used my Kodak Dualflex II and shot through with my DSLR. It's pretty cool but you need a lot of patience to make sure the shot is in focus.
