The Week in Photos // 08.16.10

The majority of last week was spent with friends and having and planning photo shoots. Sunday we went to Lauren O'Jea, makeup artist extraordinaire, birthday party. She has the funniest friends and Shawn and I had a great time.

Friday I shot my friend Amanda. I've known Amanda since I was eight. I haven't seen her in a few years but after a few minutes it was just like old times.

Lauren O'Jea did makeup for the shoot. She painted an Aurora Borealis on Amanda's face.

Shawn played with Wine Rack Kitty aka Benji after he set up the lights for the shoot.

Saturday I shot Noelle Elisabeth and Haley Giovanni together. They're friends and have wanted to shoot together in the past so I was happy to get them together in a shoot. My inspirations was The Devil's Rejects or mostly two girls running from a psycho hillbilly axe murderer but looking hot and composed the whole time. Lauren O'Jea did makeup for this shoot as well.

I got them really dirty but they didn't mind.

The week in photos 06.20.10

It's been such a busy and productive week. First off I went back into the office after almost a month off. The owners of the website I edit videos for went to Italy for three weeks to film new footage for the site. I wish they took me with them!

Tuesday I had a photo shoot with Mulan D, one of my favorite models to work with. Lauren O'Jea and Erinn FitzGerald helped me out on makeup and hair respectively. There are tons of behind the scenes photos so check them out here and look at Mulan's new photos here.

Wednesday I shot Mandy who I got to shoot last year. Erinn and Lauren volunteered their services for that shoot and I was more than happy to have them on board. You can check out three new photos of Mandy here.

Yesterday was Rhode Island Pride so I went down for a little bit before Shawn and I headed out to a Paw Sox game.

The week in photos 06.13.10

Sunday Shawn and I saw Conan O'Brien at Mohegan Sun.

The show was amazing. Conan was hilarious. Andy Richter was there. He wasn't so funny. I realized that I never found him funny.

Monday I shot Bright Side. She's also a high stylist under the name of HeadsWillRoll. She's hilarious and we ended up drinking lots of white sangria after the shoot. You can check out her photos here.

Wednesday I shot and interviewed Shevon Young for my Spotlight section of my blog. We shots at AS220 right before the Providence Geeks dinner. We were going to watch the presentation but ended up eating at the bar.

On Saturday I shot Spooky Digital Girl again. She's always great to work with. I finally got to work with makeup artist Lauren O'Jea. We were supposed to work on another shot that never happened so when I noticed she had a free day in her schedule, I asked her to jump and do makeup for the shoot.

The week in photos 06.06.10

The week started off with shooting a wedding on a resort on the beach in Cape Cod.

I finished up Megan and Jon's wedding photos.

My desk is half work station and half makeup counter.

Yesterday we went to Quincy, MA to shoot model Han on the beach. It was wicked hot and I though i was going to melt away. She was a trooper though.

Tonight Shawn and I are going to see Conan O'Brien at Mohegan Sun.

Now we're off to a cookout. Hopefully it doesn't start raining again. The weather has been ridiculous the past few days.

I stayed up to 4 am to shoot at a night club!

Next week is looking to be very busy with a wedding tomorrow on Cape Cod and three photo shoots at the end of the week. I'm going to see Conan O'Brien next week at Mohegan Sun so that should be awesome. More photos next week!
