+/- February 2015
+ The highlight of this month was New York Fashion Week of course. I was only there for the first half but that was ok because the weather was horrible! I don't know what's up with this amnesia that comes every winter but I forget how cold it gets. Check out my NYFW photo roundup to see some highlights of the week.
+ Another big highlight was coming back from fashion week to celebrate the third birthday of the PVD Lady Project. My friend Lauren said it best: "When you walk into a room of 100 women and there's no judgement, or gossip - just a bunch of girls all rooting for one another, making some serious waves, hoping every girl makes it. This is how it should be. Happy to have found that tribe." My life has been so much better after joining this group. Empowering other women has become very important to me.
+ I started off the month with a cleanse. I'm really proud of myself. I really took it seriously. Too bad I hurt my hand badly halfway through so it definitely set me back on exercising like I wanted to.
+ I had a great Valentines Day with my lady friends in the East Village. We drank wine, read tarot cards, and played with a fog machine (every ladies night needs a fog machine).
+ I went to Social Media Week in NYC. I got sent a campus pass so I was excited to check out some of the panels. Some highlights was a panel on fashion's love affair with Instagram and listening to Rev. Jesse Jackson talk about the need of diversity in tech.
- This month has been mostly catching up on work. This month is only a few days shorter than the others but it seems like I had no time actually work on anything.
- I got sick with food poisoning and ended up in the ER for a completely different reason the next day. My body is definitely telling me to slow the eff down and treat it right.
- SNOW. STOPPPP.
