Manus x Machina

Last Sunday I took a day trip to New York to catch up with friends and see the new Costume Institute's exhibit Manus x Machina (technology in fashion) at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Last year's exhibit, China Through The Looking Glass, was the first Costume Institute's exhibition I've ever seen which was probably a bad thing. It was fantastic and seemingly never ending. Every time my friend and I thought it was done we walked into another room and there was more and even better than the last room. My friend did say that the China exhibit was way better than the previous ones he's been too and I noticed that with Manus x Machina. It wasn't bad by any means but it was definitely underwhelming. I kept hoping to find another room with more clothing but that did not happen. All in all it was great to walk around The Met all day. I got my 10,000 steps on my Fitbit before noon.
