I Have A Thing For Stationary
When I was a kid I would always make my mother take me to Staples so I could stand in the stationary aisle and look at all the pens and notebooks. Back to school shopping was my favorite time of the year. I collected journals throughout the years that I never wrote in because they were too pretty. In the past two weeks I've purchased some stationary items so I thought a little haul was necessary.
Homegoods // The shoppers in this store probably thought my friend and I had a problem the way we had to touch every notebook they had but we really did need to look at every single one. Homegoods/ TJ Maxx has a really good notebook and planner selection and they are CHEAP. The Master Plan 2017 18 month planner was only $7.99! The gold notebook with a fabric snap cover was also $7.99.
Michael's // I got these two mini notebooks for $3.99 each. They are actually inserts for a Filofax-esqe planner which I actually debated on buying but I knew I wasn't going to use it but I did find the inserts pretty interesting. The Make Cool Stuff notebook has black pages so I picked up the gold Sharpie to go with it. The Goals notebook has spots to plan out larger goals and all the breakdown steps to accomplish said goal.
Target // The dollar section in the front of Target has the cutest stuff. I was ready to buy it all but I needed to take a breath and walk away. I picked up three folders, a To Do List notepad, a roll of black and gold washi tape, and two different packs of blank cards all for $1. I actually hate giving out cards but since I became a Lady Project member, I've been getting a ton of thank you cards so it was time to have some of my own to mail out.
Amazon // I bought this Magma Architecture notebook from Amazon a few days ago. I actually meant to buy the idea and imagination notebook but liked the colors of this one better and then found out it was architecture-themed when I opened it. I don't mind though and I like the information in the back of the notebook. The first half is dotted so it may be good to try out bullet journaling in this one. I also bought a pack of my favorite pens which is the Uni-ball Signo RT gel pen in 0.7mm.
The most exciting part of this haul I actually bought all the way back in April. I was watching Estée Lalonde's stationary haul and this is the last thing she showed and I immediately bought it. It's a wax kit to seal envelopes. How badass is it to have a wax seal of your initial?! I feel even more like the royalty that I already know I am! You're making a huge impression before the recipient has even opened the envelope! Two other things I bought recently that I forgot to open is this great pencil sharpener from Staedtler and this cute MONO permanent adhesive.
I'm a little too excited about all this stuff! Tell me about your latest stationary finds in the comments.
