Style Report // My New Wood Watch
I am pretty particular about watches. I never wore one until I fell in love with one about eight years ago. When the battery died I meant to get it replaced. I never did so I went watchless for a very long time. I then decided I wanted a men’s gold watch because Claire Marshall wore one. I got one earlier this year and even though it’s flashy, it is SO. FREAKING. HEAVY.
So you may have seen me wearing this new wooden watch by Jord Watches lately. It is the Cora watch in Zebrawood and Turquoise and not only is it gorgeous, it is light as a feather. I actually forgot that watches didn’t have to weigh five pounds. My wardrobe is pretty neutral (I try to live in grayscale) so the turquoise adds a subtle pop of color to an otherwise colorless look. I love the gold on the watch as well. I used to hate gold but at some point this year it's all I ever want to wear.
